Carrier Cyber Security

Motor carriers play a crucial role in the U.S. economy, transporting a wide range of goods. As businesses increasingly rely on digital systems and equipment for their operations, cyberthreats pose a significant risk to carriers. About NMFTA

The NMFTA is a nonprofit membership organization representing over 500 motor carriers. It is committed to promoting the welfare of the trucking industry, including through encouraging digitization of the industry and the safeguarding of those new digital standards and systems. Over the last several years,  the organization has proven itself as the lead researcher in trucking cybersecurity. The NMTA is also well-known for overseeing widely used identification standards in the transportation industry, including the National Motor Freight Classification and the Standard Carrier Alpha Code (SCAC).
